Blue Cheese and Fruit Terrine

Blue cheese is known for the beneficial use to replenish the microbial flora of the intestine. This is useful for the associated bowel problems during chemotherapy or antibiotic treatments.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce Blue cheese
  • 16 ounces Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Coban pepper
  • 1/4 ounce Unflavored gelatin
  • 1 Papaya, cut in slices
  • 2 Kiwi, cut in slices
  • 1 Star fruit, cut in slices
  • 1 Banana, cut in slices

Steps

  • Heat the heavy cream and add the gelatin. Stir until fully dissolved.
  • Add the cream, pepper and blue cheese to the food processor until fully mixed.
  • Place in the refrigerator to cool.
  • In a terrine pan (aluminum disposable) place a couple of mint leaves on the base and add blue cheese mixture. Mid-way place the fruit slices arranged one on top of the other. Complete filling the pan with the mixture.
  • Place the pan in the refrigerator to form. Cut in slices to serve.
