Mango/Ginger Sorbet

Dehydration is a condition of imbalanced between the body fluids and electrolytes. Example: Potassium, Sodium. Typically follows episodes of poor oral intake, difficulty swallowing and/or diarrhea
Ingredients
For 2 Serving(s)
- 4 cups Mango ripe
- 4 Grated orange peel
- 2 ounces Ginger, fresh, minced
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Water
Mango/Ginger Sorbet Directions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to boil (syrup).
- And then chill. In a blender, puree the mango and add to the water / sugar syrup.
- Place the mix in the ice-making machine and follow the manufacturer recommendations. When ready incorporate the orange and ginger.
- Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Add Habanero or Cheyenne pepper (to taste) for better results.

Most times associated with chemotherapy for cancer. Re-hydration becomes a critical issue. The following recipe addresses the incorporation of fluids, as well as, comfort to the mouth. Add ginger as a cleansing agent to the tasting buds located in the tongue and throat.
