Spicy Curried Cashews

This is ideal recipe for the days of mucositis. As the pepper and curry will intensively stimulate the blood flow to the mouth, favoring healing; as well as cleansing the taste buds for flavoring.

  • 1 lb Whole, raw cashews
  • 1 oz Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne

Spicy Curried Cashews Directions

  • Preheat the oven @ 350oF
  • Toss butter and cashews together until well coated
  • Place on a hotel pan, single layer and bake until golden light brown
  • Mix salt and spices; and toss the baked cashews in until well coated.
  • Allow cooling before serving. Can store, air tight for up to 10 days.
